27th New Cycle Grade Nine Entrants Welcome & 2025 ESSLCE Top Scorers Award Ceremony
Today, Kallamino Special High School held its 27th New Cycle Grade Nine Entrants Welcome Ceremony together with the 2025 ESSLCE Top Scorers Award Ceremony: a memorable day filled with pride, inspiration, and celebration.
The colorful event was graced by the presence of invited guests, students and their families, school community members, and proud alumni.
The program featured vibrant student performances, artistic presentations, and heartfelt speeches that reflected the unity and excellence of the Kallamino family.
In his opening address, Dr. Merhawi Abraha, the School Managing Director, congratulated the new students and emphasized that the remarkable achievements of Kallaminoโs Grade 12 students have brought pride not only to KSHS and TDA, but also to the people of Tigray. He explained that combining the recognition ceremony with the new entrantsโ welcome event was intentional and meant to inspire and motivate the newcomers to aim high and uphold the schoolโs legacy of excellence.
Mr. Tesfay Gebreezgiabiher, the Executive Director of TDA, also addressed the gathering, urging everyone to continue working together as Tegaru to build a prosperous society grounded in justice and freedom.
Alumni and award winners also shared their experiences, offering encouragement and guidance to the new generation of students.
The ceremony culminated in the award presentation honoring the outstanding 2025 ESSLCE top scorers:
Selmhal Getachew โ awarded 50,000 Birr
Adonay Gebreslassie โ awarded 40,000 Birr
Angesom Desalegn โ awarded 30,000 Birr
